Lisa Webber

Lisa Webber is currently the Associate Director of District Relations of STEMscopes™ where she oversees product growth and development. She was both a 4th grade self-contained teacher and a science lab teacher at Braeburn Elementary in Houston ISD. Additionally, Lisa taught 6th grade at Lanier MS in Houston ISD as a resident teacher of the Rice Elementary Science Lab. Lisa left the classroom after five years to become a science content specialist for 14 elementary schools in the Houston ISD Westbury-Feeder-Pattern. For the past six years, Lisa has served as a trainer of the Rice Elementary Science Lab, which provides imbedded professional development for over 600 teachers in the Houston metropolitan area. Prior to joining Houston ISD, Lisa worked as an elephant trainer at the Houston and St. Louis Zoo and as a cartographer for both the Department of Survey and the U.S. Geological Survey. Lisa received her bachelor’s degree in geology from Illinois State University.
