Sara Thompson began her teaching career in 2007 in Sheldon ISD. She taught fifth grade science for four years and then became the science lab teacher, working with second through fifth grades. Sara finished her Masters in Science Curriculum and Instruction and moved to Ft. Bend ISD in 2012. In 2013, Sara started with Harmony Public Schools. After teaching 4th grade math and science for Harmony, Sara became the K-8 Science Curriculum Coach for Harmony's South Cluster. Sara works with over ninety teachers in nine schools to foster best practices in science teaching. Sara also writes curriculum for STEMscopes and helped to write Texas, NGSS, and North Carolina curriculum.
